Every child knows the feeling of a bedroom that grows too big and too dark at bedtime. The Little Guardian turns that fear into comfort.

Told in the gentle voice of a Guardian Bear, the story begins when God asks a seamstress to “create a special friend for my children — one who is soft yet strong, kind yet brave.” She sews the bear by hand, praying over him three times as he takes shape. He waits by the window until the night a little girl needs him most. When the darkness closes in around her bed, he steps between the child and the shadows and declares, “Not this child. Not today. Not ever.” God’s love shines from him, drives back the darkness, and the little girl is safe — and never alone again.

A faith-based picture book for children ages 3–6, it is the debut title for a Lowcountry mother-and-daughter team and the first children’s book set within the Soul War Universe.
